Civil Air Patrol Selects Lt. Col. David McCollum as Oklahoma’s New Commander

Tinker AFB, Okla. (February 23, 2024) – Civil Air Patrol today announced that Lt. Col. David E. McCollum has been selected as the incoming commander of the Oklahoma Wing, effective April 2024. The appointment was approved by Maj. Gen. Edward D. Phelka, CAP National Commander and CEO, and Col. Martha C. Morris, Southwest Region Commander.

Civil Air Patrol Partnership Slashes Bomber Repair Timeline

DYESS AIR FORCE BASE, Texas --  

The Civil Air Patrol and Dyess Air Force Base collaborated to execute the CAP’s first-ever delivery of a critical aircraft part in support of a B-1B Lancer, September 21, 2023. The coordination exemplifies enhanced operational readiness by greatly reducing the time required to source a part for a B-1 in need of repair.

2022 Oklahoma Wing Summer Encampment

Muskogee, Okla (June 25-July 2, 2022) — Civil Air Patrol adult and cadet members from around the country will descend upon Camp Gruber, an Oklahoma Army National Guard training facility in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
